He examines why birds can collectively change their flight course, how termites work together to build huge towers, how fish can swim together, darting in many different directions in unison, all without any physical manifestation of communication or rehearsal;)
The idea of Morphic Resonance is that there could be a field of virtually instantaneous communication that is, at this time, beyond physics. This idea could and most probably does apply to the human collective consciousness but has been neglected and trivialized by conventional scientists for reasons that are most suspicious to me. Sheldrake studied biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, graduating with a double First Class honours degree, so he is by no means a new age whacko and his book is most compelling. Imagine if we could cultivate the ability to communicate in this way?! His book ‘A new Science of Life’ was highly offensive to some conventional scientists, while others claim the notion of convention is the categorical enemy of science. I tend to lean towards the later notion (as would John Anthony West & Robert Schoch – google them;).
I have previewed this book and put a link to it because it seems to me that our faculties have been pruned and suppressed by the mind control and indoctrination of government (‘govern’ coming from the word control and ‘ment’ coming from the word mind) and fake religion (we all know the horrific history of organized religions - crusades, witch hunts, religious wars need I go on.. I emphisize the word 'organized' because the true concept of sans hierarchy religion in it’s purity is a beautiful one to me. Sheldrake himself is a Christian and makes no bones about it)..well there's my take..check it out.
